Half steps mixed with triplets
Most people only stay in half step patterns for their screeches, but I combine the half step with triplets. It makes it a bit more animalistic, more in your face. I just change the quantization to triplets, third steps.
It gets especially fun with even faster rhythms, sixth steps, and when you change the length of the triplets in between. It really accentuates the rhythm.
