How to Blend Two Techno Kicks Into a New One

Here's how I blend pre-made kicks into a completely new one.

Fade out the punch, fade in the crunch

Let's say I have this kick and I want to combine it with another one. Take one for the punch and give it a long fade out. Get one for the crunch and create a long fade in.

Get them into the mixer and match the volumes. Get both into one channel, add a soft clipper and an inflator on 100%, and squash the post gain until it starts clipping. It's a full kick instead of a weak one.

FL Studio mixer for blending two techno kicks: both kicks next to Insert 18, which has the Oxford Inflator with the effect on 100% — Both kicks go into Insert 18, with the Oxford Inflator on 100%.
