Formant shift the rumble down
I have my kick with a 100% reverb channel as well. I muffled the highs and automated the lows so it opens up, but I feel like the rumble is just too high.
So I add Little AlterBoy and formant shift this whole thing down. I found it works best if you add it after you've muffled everything.

An EQ after it to bring back the lows
Now I add an EQ to boost the lows a little bit and get a little bit more character again. If I add and remove Little AlterBoy, you can see the rumble move to the left in the EQ.
You can also change the EQ in front of Little AlterBoy.
