My notes from this Short
Two saws into three distortion stages
I use two oscillators on a saw wave, no phase randomization and two octaves down. Then the effects go EQ, distortion, EQ, distortion, EQ, distortion.
The first two distortions are Zero Square all the way to really shape the kick. The final one is a soft clipper all the way to fix the tone of the kick.
LFO 1 controls the sub
LFO 1 is going to control the sub. I add it to the gain of the sub in the first EQ, and to the gain of the second one on unipolar, focused on the sub frequencies.
Then I use a peak in the first EQ and boost that same frequency in the second EQ with an LFO.

Squash it into the soft clipper
In the final EQ I boost the bass again, to make it more squashed and contained, because it's going into the soft clipper. With a peak you can take down the low mids.
Feel free to add a filter, for example a phaser in the second stage, and play around with the LFO. Then render your kick and hear how it sounds in a fakedrop.
